Tuff Horse Rugs processes all online payments through Paypal – the most secure online payment system on the internet.
Your details will remain confidential when you shop online.
We offer several payment methods on our website:
- Paypal. You can pay by Paypal if you have a Paypal account or wish to create one (it only takes 1 minute).
- Mastercard or Visa. If you don’t have a Paypal account, you can still pay by Mastercard or Visa on Paypal’s secure system.
- Money order (cheque in the mail). If you choose this payment method you’ll see payment instructions on the order confirmation page, after the checkout page. We’ll also email you the details.
- Online banking transfer (EFT). If you choose this payment method you’ll see payment instructions on the order confirmation page, after the checkout page. We’ll also email you the details.
If you choose to pay by Paypal or credit card – after you place an order, you’ll be taken to Paypal’s secure 128-bit encrypted site for payment processing. After your payment has been processed, you’ll be returned to the Tuff Horse Rugs site and given an order confirmation.
We offer free shipping Australia wide on all purchases. International shipping is not available at this time.
We aim to ship your order within 1 working day of receiving payment, but if there are any delays, we’ll let you know via email. Please make sure to check your junk mail folder in case our email gets caught there.
We use Australia Post for all deliveries, so please allow 3-10 working days for your order to arrive, especially if you live in a rural area, or outside Victoria.
Please be home to accept your parcel
If you’re not home to accept your order when it’s delivered, it will be left at your local post office for collection. A parcel collection notice will be left at your address. We do not allow parcels to be left at your address unattended.
If a product is listed as “available on backorder”, it can still be purchased immediately, but please keep in mind there will be an additional wait for us to restock this item before we can send it.
If you’ve purchased an item on backorder, we’ll advise you of estimated delivery dates as soon as we can.
If only part of your order was purchased on backorder, we’ll split the delivery up, and ship the items we do have in stock straightaway, for your convenience.

We will replace, refund or exchange any rug you purchase and are unhappy with.
If you’d like a refund, replacement or exchange, send us an email (or give us a call) and we’ll help you through the process, and let you know where and how to send the rug back.
On return of the rug, we will refund the full amount of the rug, excluding postage cost as listed on website. Postage cost is not refundable.
If you’d like a replacement or exchange, postage will be at the expense of the customer.
Condition of returned items
Rug must be returned in “new” condition, and in a re-saleable condition.
We recommend you put a sheet under your rug the first time you try it, to keep the rug in a clean condition.
If rug is determined to be not in a re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse refund or replacement, or to offer a partial refund.
Determination of the condition of a returned rug is at our sole discretion.
‘Fair go’ policy
